Jun 1, 2009 old note, Pint @ Horniblows. Good aroma, sweet, various citrus, orange, grapefruit, little peach, caramel, cardboard. Tad hazed brownish orange color, small to no head, no lace. Bitter sweet flavor. Medium body, oily creamy mouthfeel, bitter dry finish. Good beer, aroma best part, right on edge of pale/IPA type ale. description on board at brewpub said "A hoppy spring ale that goes great with mama V’s spaghetti.

May 7, 2009 WBF sample. Pours a murky amber. The nose and flavor were a bit dominated by diacetyl in my opinion. I guess it was English leaning but it was too buttery for me. Didnt care for it.

May 4, 2009 Sample from Raleigh WBF. Interesting beer. Hoppy, but malt-forward in a bready/biscuity way, so true to an English Pale, or maybe more like some English IPAs in the hoppiness. Mild and fruity. Watery palate, but I’d like to seek out more of this. Good session beer.

May 3, 2009 On tap at the brewery. Lightly hazed gold with a white head. Sweet caramel nose, some floral hop. Nice lace. Bready and earthy flavors, OK stuff.

May 3, 2009 At World Beer Festival in Raleigh, NC this Pale Ale poured a hazy orange/copper color with plenty of head. Aroma of floral hops, caramel and orange. Taste of flowers and citrus (grapefruit with some orange) and a little pine. Some nice hoppiness to it as well. Nice local brew.

May 3, 2009 Draught, at Horniblows Tavern. Pours golden, copper with medium white head, some lacing. Aroma is hops and caramel, and similar flavor. Nice mildly hoppy flavor, decent malt backbone.
