Cask at NC Cask night. Dark pour with a thick khaki head and spotty lace. Nice aroma with notable hints of Roast, chocolate, vanilla and toasted wood. Creamy mouth-feel with notes of bourbon vanilla, chocolate and light roast

Draught at Horniblows Tavern. Pours black, with a nice beige head, nice retention. Aroma is roasty, chocolate, vanilla, earthiness, scotch. Flavor is similar, very smooth, very flavorful, blended well enough for flavors to work together, and not one flavor overpowering others. Alcohol present in aroma and flavor, has a nice warming effect. Delicious beer.
