Clear light amber color with ok head. Subtle smell of malt and maybe some hops. Slight sweetness to the flaovr. Gets more bitter as it warms. Not horrible. lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 6, 2007 Light reddish amber color with a smell of nicely balancing sweet malt and simple nondescript hops. Decent balanced flavor as well, but characteristically thin for the place. Lasting mild bitterness. I don’t know how mixing an Irish Ale and an American Pale Ale makes this an American Strong Ale, but oh well... Decent but unremarkable beer. unclemattie (2415), Georgia, USA

Clear, deep copper color, a little lighter that RedHydrant. Much darker than HolyCow!. It has the hop floral of the HolyCow!. It has the Malt backbone of the RedHydrant. Then finishes again like the HolyCow! This is the best of this brewery! I ordered a second pint...! dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 28, 2007 The aroma is not real strong, a little malty. The taste has some fruity hoppiness to it that is immediately noticeable though. Thin finish, but the fruitiness fights the malts there. An odd combination that I’m not convinced was necessary; my wife likes it though.
