| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 20, 2008 Sample at the Rancho Dr brewpub. This is a blend of 2 Big Dog beers I didn’t really care for, so here goes. The beer is a clear amber color with a medium thin and creamy light beige head that diminishes slowly. Spotty lacing. Malt and floral hops aroma. Medium-bodied with flavors of hops, citrus and malt. The finish is evenly hoppy/malty with neither flavor lingering long. As with each of the beers used in the blend, this one is just average overall. Bockyhorsey (2552), Mesa, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 5, 2009 Sample at brew pub. Malty sweet aroma decent on the nose. Amber body with off white head. Had enough fruit and bitter to hold back the sweet malts. Good refreshment. dwyerpg (2545), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 28, 2007 The aroma is not real strong, a little malty. The taste has some fruity hoppiness to it that is immediately noticeable though. Thin finish, but the fruitiness fights the malts there. An odd combination that I’m not convinced was necessary; my wife likes it though. unclemattie (2432), Georgia, USA

Clear, deep copper color, a little lighter that RedHydrant. Much darker than HolyCow!. It has the hop floral of the HolyCow!. It has the Malt backbone of the RedHydrant. Then finishes again like the HolyCow! This is the best of this brewery! I ordered a second pint...! lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 6, 2007 Light reddish amber color with a smell of nicely balancing sweet malt and simple nondescript hops. Decent balanced flavor as well, but characteristically thin for the place. Lasting mild bitterness. I don’t know how mixing an Irish Ale and an American Pale Ale makes this an American Strong Ale, but oh well... Decent but unremarkable beer. decaturstevo (2007), decatur, Tennessee, USA
