Big Dogs Belgian White

On tap at pizza port. Hazy yellow with a fizzy white head. Sweet malty citrus and clove aroma and taste with a crisp finish.

hazy straw yellow with a medium sized white sluggish head. it smells dusty... wet wheat, earthy spice and orange with faint yeast notes. the flavor is much the same... very wheaty, light lemon acidity and really muddy... like pond water? yeasty dirty aftertaste. light to medium bodied and a little creamy though it has prickly carbonation. why they have two wheat beers on tap simultaneously is odd. especially when one is kickass and this is barely mediocre? 6/3/5/3/11/2.8

Sampler at Big Dogs Brewing, Las Vegas. Pours golden haze, white head. Aroma yeasty, orange peel, some light spicy notes of coriander, and curacao. Taste, orange peel, coriander, light yeasty mouthfeel and a med. carbonation.

Sample at brew pub. Coriander is dominate for the aroma on this one. Cloudy glod body with white head. Flavor had some zesty zip to it along with the oranges and quite refreshing. Find more wits to be all grain and dry not much else. Good wit reminded me of the wits at Four Peaks and BJ’S in AZ.

(Draught) Pours a cloudy golden body with a medium white head. Aroma of florals, coriander, orange, and wheat. Flavor of wheat, coriander, and citrus.

Muddy pale blond color. It smells of dirty water. It has almost no character (no wheat, no citrus, no spices). Bad.

This just isn’t a style of beer I can get excited for. Thin and wheaty in general, this is pretty similar. I know lots of people love this for the summer, just not me.

Seasonal draught at brewhaus. Very cloudy pale yellow colour with a soft white head. Lots of citrus in the aroma and a little yeast. Very light flavour with a nice crisp finish. Very drinkable.
