the nose is roasty, a little smoky and has a touch of cocoa.
take the characteristics in the aroma... add some coffee, toasted nuttiness and some ash and you get the flavor profile. it is heavy on the roast and malt while just a bit bitter.
the body is medium. the mouth feel is creamy but a little watery from the nitrogen. 6/4/6/3/14/3.3 sebletitje (1925), Tampa, Florida, USA

Very light, watery roasted aroma. Bland and un-stout like. Nice black thickness and okay head. Very watery and seems like a very weak, poor brown to me. jcwattsrugger (5374), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Dec 21, 2007 Draught into pint glass at the brewery. Rather odd stout, it seemed upside-down. Instead of chocolate and coffee with hints of hop, it was strong hop with hints of bittersweet chocolate in the finish. Not bad, just an odd stout.
