Commercial Description:
This rich, dark ale is brewed with nine different malts along with roasted barley. It has old-world appeal for stout overs everywhere and is distinguished by hints of coffee and cocoa.

Draft at the Sahara BLVD location. Decent roastiness with some chocolate. Flavor fell off a bit when it came in a bit watery. OK

Black pour, creamy beig nitro like head. Some ruby edges to it and a mils smell of roasty malt and taste as well. I found it thin bodied and flavored, but overall decent. Certainly not as enjoyable as the 88th % indicates, I thought.

20 oct 07, draft at BD Cafe & Casino, LV. Dark, opaque black color. Milk chocolate colored head. Aromas of semi-sweet chocolate, coffee, licorice. Tastes of roasted malts & coffee, light anise. Medium bodied. If I loved Stouts... This would be my Favorite of the lot. An Excellent Stout!

On tap @ Big Dogs poured a dark reddish black with a creamy lasting brown head. Aromas of bitter chocolate, coffee and a hint of smoke. Palate was medium bodied and creamy smooth. Flavors of bitter chocolate, coffee, roasty and a hint of smoke with a lingering bitter finish.

Black color; brownish creamy head. Gentle aroma of roasted malt. Some malt taste, sweetness, mild roasted malt. Well brewed, but the body is weak.

I love stouts. A nice head with good flavor, if I had to give an example of a "normal" stout, this could qualify. Quite nice. On tap at the Draft House in Vegas.
