Commercial Description:
This rich, dark ale is brewed with nine different malts along with roasted barley. It has old-world appeal for stout overs everywhere and is distinguished by hints of coffee and cocoa.

On draught. Tasted during trip to California. Black colour with a nice creamy head. Roasted aroma. Very smooth taste but ends up a bit sour, dry and very roasted, hint of coffee.

Nice stout. Great head & nice aftertaste. Somewhat yeasty-mellow flavor for a stout.

had this one at the barleys beer festival...poured a beatiful opaque brown black with a creamy tan dense head that you could lay on without creasing. nice roasted nose flavors....sweet choc milk flavors, espresso, and caramel, chocolate. slight bittering at the end. nice all around maybe slightly thiin, but enjoyable never the less. reminds me of what a milk stout should be, probably from the holy cow days...this would make sense, wouldnt it?? drink it youll like it.

Good roasty aroma. Creamy nitro head. Very dark in color, nearly opaque, how a stout should look. Nice roasted malt flavor, but smooth enough to be quite drinkable. A very nice stout.

Very dark with red highlights; tan head with a nice coating of lace (nitro induced). Creamy, lightish and smooth, of course. Notes of fresh roast, sweet caramel, and aromatic licorice. Softly roasted and toasted; no burnt flavors. Decent stout, but fairly common tasting.

I had this at the Great Arizona Beer Festival in Phoenix. It was a pretty typical stout.

Nitro tap. Roasty nose. Black as night color with a thick tan head. Good lacing. Lots of chocolate/roasty flavors. Very smooth silky/creamy texture with sweet light finish. Very nice Europeanstyle stout.
