On draught. Tasted during trip to California. Golden clear colour with a nice head. Very nice fruity and hoppy aroma. But very average taste for an IPA. Not bad.

On tap at the Draft House. Dark amber color. Thin creamy white head that lasts until the end. Leaves a lot of lacing. Piney aroma and some sour citrus. Light and astringinet mouthfeel. Very hoppy, not much malt backing that. Pretty one-sided IPA.

unfortunately i had to change my opinion of big dogs after having this beer. orange brown pour with a small tan bubbly head. nose of slight cascades and decongestants. this fell on the lighter side of an ipa, more of a pale ale. light hopping with a tangy extract feel that clings to your palate. a disapointment. the war dog is much better and bigger. they need to push the ibus on this a bit more.

GABF 2004 Light golden in color with a small white head. Aroma of vegetable matter, hops and an odd tartness. Flavor is not very clean, mixed with bitterness and hops.

Very nice citrusy-hoppy aroma. Bright orange in color. A decent amount of carbonation, but not a foam monster - appropriate for the style. Nice hoppy flavor with just enough malt to back it up. A solid American-style IPA.

This one really surprised me. Clear and deep golden with a creamy, fairly lasting head with intricate, lasting lace patterns. Fulfilling texture -- not too light and not too thick. Healthy caramel malt backbone; some rye-like notes, too. Big, wafty flowers. Piney and citrusy goodness throughout. Rather tasty IPA.

Cloudy orange, very sharp and fresh hop flavor, like chewing on a hop pellet... a little gritty too. Musty, all hops and no balance... call this one a hop stew, but at least it’s not overdone.

Great aroma. Piney and sharp citrus notes. Murky dary yellow with some head and lacing. Great bitterness up front. Very piney then citrus takes over. Chalky texture with a dry finish. Nice IPA
