slightly hazy dark amber, thin tan head, incredable rich sweet fruity malt aroma, rich malt flavor, lots of carmel sweetness, chocolate and bananas out the wazoo, a touch of ripe fruit, only a hint of bitterness in the finish, a bit of alcohol almost comes through but is quickly displaced by the banana, a new favorite?

It intially tastes like the sweet malts of a dopplebock then blends into typical weizen flavor. Quite a nice tasting beer. dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA

Not real wheaty until you near the end and not heavy either. Just a fairly decent brew. Bockyhorsey (2528), Mesa, Arizona, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 15, 2007 On tap at the Draft House. Pours a murky brown/copper color, white a thin whisp of off white head. Fruity aroma, someone described it as similar to Juicy Fruit gum, I got mostly banana, yeast and some cloves. Taste is nice and sweet, some more banana and some other fruit and some bread. Goes down silky and smooth. Medium body. Overall pretty good. I would go back for this. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 11, 2004 Muddy orange-raped brown color with a simplistic halo of off-whiteness..a dose of funky & chunky yeast infested oatmeal..You know, that typical weizenbock stench. Smooth spiced-up yeasty flavors with that grimey, wheaty weizenbock character..some grapey notes riding the backroads...Excellent weizenbock...Perfectly funky, yeasty, and wheaty. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Dec 6, 2004 This weizen bock pours with a muddy orange-amber body topped by a medium thick head with some lacing. The aroma is simply great. It’s sweet with nice banana notes, good clove notes and a nice yeastiness. The flavor is slightly sweet yet slightly sour with clove notes, a touch of banana, nice yesty notes and a little bitterness. Medium to full bodied, warming and slightly dry.
