Bockyhorsey (2487), Mesa, Arizona, USA May 5, 2009 Sample at brew pub. Malt dominated the aroma. Dark amber body with dirty white head. Light fruit in the mix with thismalt mash. Haad an alcocol presence noticable. Fruity aftertaste on palate that wasn’t that noticable in flavor or aroma. Good brew. BNSLY (43), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Apr 12, 2009 Wow! Another good beer. Dark in color, with nice tan head. Good hop smell and taste. Also plenty of malt flavor. Unusual beer but very tasty. decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Mar 10, 2009 Clean brown pour with white lite tight head and lace. Piney/lemon with malt on the nose. Rich creamy sweet toasted malt with a very good bitter finish and a just right warmth. Creamy full bodied. A well balanced beer. jcwattsrugger (5223), Florida and, New Jersey, USA Mar 10, 2009 on tap-pours a retaining patchy tan head and cloudy brown color. Aroma is sweet citrus hops-some lemon/pine, some medium malt, brown sugar/molasses. Taste is sweet citrus/resin hops-some lemon/pine, secondary medium malt. Slight alcohol. dwyerpg (2519), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Mar 5, 2009 Beautiful red-brown color. This is an aggressively hopped beer, but it also definitely has plenty of malt flavor to it and a bit of graininess as well. An odd beer, but then again, the name surely suggests that.
