Commercial Description:
This is our classic, award-winning American pale ale. Brewed in the tradition of early West Coast ales, it is light amber in color with a distinctive Northwest hop character.

Pale light gold color with a mild hop aroma. Medium hop flavor, but still light even for an APA. Nothing special, but very drinkable and crisp bubbly carbonation. Didn’t get a lot of interesting flavors out of this one.

20 oct 07, draft at BD Cafe & Casino, LV. Clear, light amber colored. Sweet malt flavors and heavenly hop florals. Flavor is of a nice malt body backed up by a big hop bitterness. I’ve had IPAs that were not as bitter as this APA. Very Good.

clear light amber, thin head, touch of lace, big sweet grapefruit aroma, huge citrus hop flavor with enough carmel malt sweetness to back it up, short bitter finish to round it out, an all time favorite

Sampler. Gold, holds a light head. Attractive hop nose. Somewhat sweet with solid enjoyable hop flavours.

Growler. Light amber color, thick white head that diminishes to a thin layer. Good lacing. Aromas of fruity hops and earthy malts. Taste seems mostly malty to me, some fruitiness and just a hint of bittnerness. Slight bitterness lingers but finish is nothing to remember. Fairly light and should be easy to finish the growler.

Golden color. The body is quite weak, both aroma and flavor have a earthy character (manure), reasonable IPA bitterness. Maybe I’m getting more exigent.

Light amber color; creamy head; nice lace. Good fruity aromatic hops; the taste is also quite malty. Just the bitterness in the middle is not very strong.

Little aroma, standard look. A pale ale in every way. It’s the right amount of hops but does it without being very heavy. One I could drink quite frequently.

On draught. Tasted during trip to California. Clear golden colour with a fast disappearing head. Little aroma of fruit and spice. Very great taste of malt and a good blend of hops. Also a great fresh aftertaste.
