| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 8, 2005 Nice hoppy aroma. Light to medium orange in color, decent head. The hop flavor predominates, but it has enough maltiness to make it pretty balanced. A good American Pale Ale. Aubrey (2777), Denver, Colorado, USA

Light caramel sweetness in the malts. Flowery hops with a decent bitterness level. Pretty good balance. Not bad. DEbeer (192), West Virginia, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Sep 21, 2004 I was so disappointed by this beer. I really think it is a mistake to characterize this beer as a pale. The taste is nothing but the coffee/chocolate of a weak stout. The hops are almost undetectable, and that is what seems to be lacking. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA
