Commercial Description:
This is our classic, award-winning American pale ale. Brewed in the tradition of early West Coast ales, it is light amber in color with a distinctive Northwest hop character.

this is a standard pale ale which is pretty good. some citrus pine characteristics that are subtle but not in your face. balanced quite well with the malt back bone. not hopped as much as i probably like.

Nice hoppy aroma. Light to medium orange in color, decent head. The hop flavor predominates, but it has enough maltiness to make it pretty balanced. A good American Pale Ale.

Clear and golden with a creamy-white head and intricate lace. Nice palate -- creamy and smooth. Light caramel sweetness in the malts. Flowery hops with a decent bitterness level. Pretty good balance. Not bad.

I was so disappointed by this beer. I really think it is a mistake to characterize this beer as a pale. The taste is nothing but the coffee/chocolate of a weak stout. The hops are almost undetectable, and that is what seems to be lacking.

Clear light orange, very hopped with a sweet pine and citrus juice nose... flavor is similar, has good balance but resembles an IPA more.

Clear straw/yellow color with some head and not much lacing. Light citrus nose. Nice bitterness with nice malt backbone and a dry finish. Very balanced beer.

Medium copper with a quickly dying head. Acidic hop presides, but this is light in the body.
