Very much like their kolsch. Almost indistinguishable side by side, actually. Very pale unattractive pale yellow with light, faint sweetness and very bland and watery. nothing special.

clear pale yellow, thin fine white head, light sweet malt aroma and flavor, just enough hops to balance without showing any hop character, very clean, quick sharp bitterness in the finish, well made

Tap, pours yellow, thin white head. Not bad for a light beer, but pretty much what you would expect. This is my wife’s choice every time we go. It serves it’s purpose.

Bottled. Very pale straw color, with a short head. A hint of hops and yeast in the nose. Most prominent aspect of the taste is the carbonation. Light to non-existent body. Barely detectable citrus hops in the finish. If you’re having trouble deciding between beer and bottled water, now you don’t have to decide.

Lager really is the worst style ever. So glad I found out what real beer tastes like. Made for the masses and very glad I had only in the little sampler glass. On tap at the Draft House.
