austinpowers (2827), New York, New York, USA May 6, 2008 Can from Summerhill LCBO in Toronto. Tastes like total shite. Is there no beer in Toronto this week that I will enjoy?!? The state of brewing here truly is a cause for concern. Far more bitter than I expected from the English Pale Ale style - more of an American Pale Ale, IMHO.
douglas88 (708), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Aug 18, 2008 Bottle bought in Yellowstone NP. Pours a clear copper color with a thick white head. The aroma was very nice; tons of caramel malts and some hops. The flavor was full of caramel malts mixed with some bitter metallic hops. The finish is quite bitter. A nice full mouthfeel, and a hint of orange peel round it out. Not bad at all. Geth_in_beer (663), Nova Scotia, Canada Aug 17, 2008 Sampler. Light in appearance with a thin lace. Thin in flavour and a little sweet. Oscbert (239), Sacramento, California, USA Jul 27, 2008 ~Pours golden amber with small white lasting head.
~Hoppy grapefruit scent with some caramel malts.
~Dusty crisp hop taste. refreshing, but a bit mellow and watered down.
~Light crisp and refreshing feel, bitter finish.
~This a very refreshing Pale Ale. Mellow and light. Enjoyable! hip_hop (84), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 10, 2008 Pours an amber colour with a medium head. Bottled Canadian version. Aroma of sweet roasted malt and hops. Medium body. Big roasted malt taste with a good hop bitterness. Bittersweet caramel aftertaste.
dkachur (723), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jun 23, 2008 473 mL can from matt7215. Thanks! Dark orange pour with a large frothy head that disappears fairly quickly. Peppery and citrusy hop aroma. Taste is very much the same with some pineapple and grassy notes. Very smooth and drinkable.
