Commercial Description:
Brewed as a medium India Pale Ale, this full-flavored moderately hopped beer has the strongest hop character of our ales. Made for hopheads and new beer aficionados. The grist composition is 94% Pale malt, with the remaining grain bill consisting of carastan malts. The finishing Mt. Hood hop addition in the whirlpool gives this beer a good hop character without becoming excessively bitter. The beer is fined instead of filtered so the hop character is not stripped away.

Draught at the brewpub. Amber coloured. Clear. Sweet pungent hop aromas with clearly a lot of malts. Nose is very sweet. Suprisingly little citrus notes as this peer is supposedly hopped with Amarillo hops. Cloyingly sweet malty body. Not really a typical IPA. It also does not have the effervesence that it really should have, so the hops are lot in the maltiness. Finishes syrupy. Low in carbonation.

On tap @ C.B. Potts Broomfield poured a clear copper with a lasting off white head. Aromas of pine, orange and a hint of carmel. Palate was medium bodied and dry. Flavors of light carmel, pine, earthiness and a hint of citrus with a lingering bitter finish.

Rosemont, IL. Underrated. Subdued hop aroma; fresh. Excellent sheet lace. Slightly hazy amber color. Quite good. Initially I wanted more sweetness for balance, but toward the end of the glass the balance comes as the sweetness intensifies. Pretty solid. I’m impressed. I had 3 brews tonight at the brewery in Rosemont and all 3 were not only drinkable but well above average. Neither were outstanding, but all were quite good.

Sampled on draft at Humperdinks in Arlington, Tx. Quite a pedestrian IPA. Could benefit from a more bitter flavor profile. The hops used in this ale are quite piney and herbal - not my favorite for the style, but flavor hops are certainly present for those wanting a hop fix. A decent beer.

Pours nice from a take out growler. Amber with off white head. Mild hop aroma, weak hop bitterness overpowered by malty sweetness for an IPA. Good drinkable beer, but really cannot be compared to a trad IPA.

Amber ale with plenty of hopiness. A pleasant citrus afermath (grapefruit, I decided) from the hops. Very drinkable.

Pours a nice deep amber color. Aromas of citrus. Strong hop flavors with malts and a dry finish.

Ram in Schaumburg. Deep golden color, more coppery than most IPAs. I think I had a different one than most here, as Schaumburg uses Amarillos in their IPA. Big fruit character, nice amarillo nose of fruit rollups balanced by a very nice bitterness. Something about this made it incredibly drikable. Definitely the best thing about this place. Nice.
