Copper colored with little to no head. The aroma is killed by the freezing temperature of the beer. However, I think I’m getting a hint of grapefruit in the nose. Light - Medium bodied. Moderately flavored hop intensity throughout, in addition to the light flavors of grapefruit. Giving it a little time to warm up definitely made this a better beer. | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 27, 2004 Sweet hop aroma. Decent head, typical color. Taste is too sweet. Hops are very prevalent, but the bittering is off. A decent beer, just not properly balanced. michael-pollack (2710), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Excellent lacing. Nutty malts, heavy hop flavors of flowers, herbs, spruce, citrus, and grapefruit. Also tasted of pepper, allspice, coriander, ginger, medicine. Full bidy and oily texture. Lively carbination. Bitter finish. Same hops as TwoRow Hopzilla (Amarillo I think). drkilmer (35), Myersville, Maryland, USA

Tons of grapefruit taste, but no malt foundation to speak of. One dimensional. Still ... if you like grapefruity IPA’s, you might like this one. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 14, 2004 This IPA has a pretty good balance of malt and hops. The malts are medium and soft, sweet. Hops are citrus, grapefruit and some pine. Not all that exciting. Better in the bottle than on tap in Broomfield, CO.
