Commercial Description:
Brewed as a medium India Pale Ale, this full-flavored moderately hopped beer has the strongest hop character of our ales. Made for hopheads and new beer aficionados. The grist composition is 94% Pale malt, with the remaining grain bill consisting of carastan malts. The finishing Mt. Hood hop addition in the whirlpool gives this beer a good hop character without becoming excessively bitter. The beer is fined instead of filtered so the hop character is not stripped away.

On tap at the Ram, U. Village. This IPA isn’t bad but they serve it ice cold. Copper colored with little to no head. The aroma is killed by the freezing temperature of the beer. However, I think I’m getting a hint of grapefruit in the nose. Light - Medium bodied. Moderately flavored hop intensity throughout, in addition to the light flavors of grapefruit. Giving it a little time to warm up definitely made this a better beer.

Sweet hop aroma. Decent head, typical color. Taste is too sweet. Hops are very prevalent, but the bittering is off. A decent beer, just not properly balanced.

Draught: Light amber brown color. Clear and sparkling. Average, lasting, creamy white head. Excellent lacing. Nutty malts, heavy hop flavors of flowers, herbs, spruce, citrus, and grapefruit. Also tasted of pepper, allspice, coriander, ginger, medicine. Full bidy and oily texture. Lively carbination. Bitter finish. Same hops as TwoRow Hopzilla (Amarillo I think).

On tap in Dallas, TX. Loaded with piney/grapefruity hop aroma. Tons of grapefruit taste, but no malt foundation to speak of. One dimensional. Still ... if you like grapefruity IPA’s, you might like this one.

tap at littleton, colorado location-pours a light orange hue with minimal white head-cascade piney hop aroma-grapefruit mostly. body was slightly thin and didn’t have much to offer. long piney hop finish, but not much malt to speak of here. a one-dimensional IPA for those that cant handle the big ipa’s out there.

Pours a deep amber with a lite head and very little aroma. Some diacetyl, crystal malts and oxidized hops but not much aroma. A very mild IPA with a very lite bitterness and hop flavor. My fiancee called it a "Chugger".

Draft- Spokane. Copper color with a small off white head. Pine aromas abound. Grapefruit, pine and celery flavors. A typical APA/IPA.

This IPA has a pretty good balance of malt and hops. The malts are medium and soft, sweet. Hops are citrus, grapefruit and some pine. Not all that exciting. Better in the bottle than on tap in Broomfield, CO.
