Commercial Description:
Brewed as a medium India Pale Ale, this full-flavored moderately hopped beer has the strongest hop character of our ales. Made for hopheads and new beer aficionados. The grist composition is 94% Pale malt, with the remaining grain bill consisting of carastan malts. The finishing Mt. Hood hop addition in the whirlpool gives this beer a good hop character without becoming excessively bitter. The beer is fined instead of filtered so the hop character is not stripped away.

Crushed with Jakebra. Meh. More like a semi-hoppy, quite poopy amber than a ipa. Not exciting at all. Just boring and kinda nasty.

Tap; good bitterness not to sharp; assertive citrus but doesn’t overpower; nice copper amber appearance. (#44)

Pretty decent IPA. Pours a dark amber color with an attractive fluffy white head that laced the glass nicely. This beer is lightly hoppy with a bitter finish.

Light orange pour. Aroma is of light hops. Fantastic taste! The hops make a nice cushion for the other flavors going on. Very well done!

From The Ram in Salem, Oregon. A growler fill. Pours a clear copper with a one finger off-white head. Good amount of lacing in the top half. Aroma is floral hops. Taste is citrus bitter hops with a decided grapefruit-orange flavor. The malts are decidedly in the background but sufficient for the style. Mouthfeel is good, fruity bitter finish. Drinkability is good but no abv to judge how many you could drink.

Draft at the Tacoma Waterfront location. Slightly hazyu reddish copper. Light gray lace. Little bit of carb. Nutty nose, very slight. Creamy medium body. Tangy apricot mid-palate, with a longish citric bittery finish.
