So much for word of mouth. Not horrible, but SO VERY bland. To each his own, I guess. oldrtybastrd (1823), Morlautern, Germany/Great Falls, Montana, USA

This one gets a 4 for appearance... RAM has a tendency to over-frost their glasses and, in my case, a giant iceberg detached itself from the bottom of my glass and floated slowly up into the head. It was like watching "Titanic"! Otherwise, it was a medium golden, frost-hazed body under a holding, creamy, 1cm film. Aroma and flavor was nutty & bitter. A sweet middle flavor led the way to light hops for a refreshing finish. Smooth with a touch of crisp.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 31, 2005 On tap at Ram brew pub. Clear golden yellow hued having barely discernable head with barely discernable lacing. No discernable aroma. No discernable carbonation. Light bodied that starts with soft sweet malt flavor with hints of lemony citrous flavor and finishes dry with light bitterness. An acceptable drinkable beer that goes well with baby back BBQ ribs. Clear light golden a\with a nice white persistant head and very nice lacing. Pale light malt aromas and a slight metallic flavor. easy on the hops and a bit wheaty. Moderately carbonated Not bad, but not special. pinkzambia (989), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 20, 2005 On Tap at The Ram in Meridian: This pours a clear gold color with sweet aromas and vanilla tastes. The lacing is runny and the body is thin and slightly slimy. It’s not bad. I think it should be a little higher %, c’mon - it’s a golden ale. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Oct 20, 2005 Yellow color with no head or aroma. The flavor has a little candy sugar quality, but other than that sweetness, it’s all water.
