May 16, 2007 Tea colored, very thin head. Very light, sweet grainy aroma. Medium bitter, sweet toasted malt/grainy flavor. Saazy, or just Goldings - unlike any ESB I’ve had in terms of the hop profile. Comes across as an altbier. Light nutty finish. Drinkable but not anybody’s idea of ESB - UK or California. Some diacetyl. Light fruit. Indianapolis location.
