Commercial Description:
The most complex of our beer line-up with a combination of five different malts and four different hop varieties. Buttface has the broadest popular appeal of our beers. It has a high malt character and lack of evident hops. This surprises people because it is easy to drink, but has a higher alcohol content than what is perceived.

On tap at the Ram in University Village, Seattle. Dark tawny color with virtually no head. The nose is a combination of caramel and nutty malt. Soft, but not too complex, and lacking of anything but malt flavors. Decent but boring.

On tap at RAM, Schaumburg,IL: Darker almond color with a thin fizzy head that disappears almost as soon as she puts the pint down. Graininess, as far as malts go, some bitter hints at the finish, but overall it’s a bland and nearly tatsteless beer.

Nothing very complex here. It pours a nutty brown color with a near non-existant off-white head. Has a roasted malt aroma. It’s got a smooth mouthfeel, solid malt flavors, sweet & roasted. Lots of carbonation with a crisp finish.

Definately amber with thin white head...aroma all malts, much like a brown...the only complex thing about this beer, is the hop bitterness first, then a caramel nutty finish, seemed sort of reversed to me...the sad thing is that this beer might really be "The most complex of their beer line-up"

Amber/brown color. Sparkling. Lasting, average, creamy, off-white head. Excellent lacing. Average malty flavors of molasses, toast, and meal. Earthy bacteria. Licorice and chalk flavors. Medium body and oily texture. Metallic, chalky finish. Salty too. Good color for an amber. Overall, a decent amber beer.

Sampled this beer at the Great Taste of the Midwest in Madison WI. I wasn’t a big fan of this beer, as it seemed tastless to me. However, that may be because it was one of the last beers I sampled.

Draft- Spokane. Bright copper color with a light beige head. Fruity raspberry aroma. Light fruit and caramel flavors. Quite spritzy in feel.
