12oz bottle...Pours a brownish-red hue...not much froth produced on this. Aroma is full of malt, carmel...not very intense though...Drinks pretty much as expected...body seems lighter than it is because the beer seems to be lacking in CO2...so it comes of a bit lifeless and flabby. Malts dominate with carmel being the main character. Sweet, but some slight lingering bitterness shows up...though not quite enough to balance out the crystal malts. This is something I can drink easily, although a more prominent hopping would help add some depth and balance. Thanks Brent! I enjoyed it.

Aug 24, 2009 On tap at Humperdinks in Dallas, TX (NW Hwy). Reddish brown in color with a light beige colored head. The smell is malts, floral, weak, and boring. The taste is malts, light hops, little weak.

Aug 22, 2009 On tap at Humperdinks in Dallas, TX (NW Hwy). Amber in color with a decent sized off-white head. Aroma is of malt, cardboard and nuts. Taste is of malt, leaves and dirt.

Jun 24, 2009 draft at the Fishers, IN brewpub - Pours light, mostly clear amber-orange with a minimal head. There’s a mild caramel malt aroma. It tastes of sweet caramel malt with some fruitiness. This brew is medium bodied and has just a little hops in the finish.
