Commercial Description:
The most complex of our beer line-up with a combination of five different malts and four different hop varieties. Buttface has the broadest popular appeal of our beers. It has a high malt character and lack of evident hops. This surprises people because it is easy to drink, but has a higher alcohol content than what is perceived.

12oz bottle...Pours a brownish-red hue...not much froth produced on this. Aroma is full of malt, carmel...not very intense though...Drinks pretty much as expected...body seems lighter than it is because the beer seems to be lacking in CO2...so it comes of a bit lifeless and flabby. Malts dominate with carmel being the main character. Sweet, but some slight lingering bitterness shows up...though not quite enough to balance out the crystal malts. This is something I can drink easily, although a more prominent hopping would help add some depth and balance. Thanks Brent! I enjoyed it.

Not much smell, nice taste with some spices and a burnt feel. Better than expected.

On tap at Humperdinks in Dallas, TX (NW Hwy). Reddish brown in color with a light beige colored head. The smell is malts, floral, weak, and boring. The taste is malts, light hops, little weak.

Had this on tap awhile back at the Indianapolis Ram, but unfortunately didn’t take good notes.

Lightly sweet hoppy aroma. Nice amber color with little head. Light carmel and malty flavor. Nice smooth finish.

draft at the Fishers, IN brewpub - Pours light, mostly clear amber-orange with a minimal head. There’s a mild caramel malt aroma. It tastes of sweet caramel malt with some fruitiness. This brew is medium bodied and has just a little hops in the finish.

Had this on tap at their restaurant. Pretty bland and uninteresting in all ways. Pass. Food was not very good, either.
