Black. Dry and very roasty, notes of tar and flowery hops. Clean and hard mouthfeel and a thin body leads to a corroded metal finish.

Jun 18, 2006 WBC ’06 winner from the Seattle Ram. Dark brown colour. Light chocolate and rye bread aroma. Mild character still shows some sweet dark chocolates, toast, nuts. It’s a bit tart in the finish, seemingly from the dark malts. Award-winning "Brown Porter" is really structed like a "Robust Porter" but without the hoppiness. Enjoyable.
