Oakes (6819), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 2, 2006 Hazy amber colour. Woody, citric, tangerine, orange, old orchard wood...oh yeah this is PNW IPA...the food of the gods. Minimal malt for balance, a testament to the hop. Chinook = the shit. BückDich (4525), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 27, 2004 Hazy bronze, sticky head/lacing. The aroma is faintly hoppy with lemon and caramel. The flavor is nutty, light. The hops aren’t very dominant & it ends in a dry creamy finish that lingers. acrdz (4248), Pennsylvania, USA Jun 27, 2003 Slightly murky orange. Beautiful look of opaque orange light. Looks like an unfiltered wheat. Moderately strong hop aroma of oranges, sugar, but it was served too cold. Bitterness is unaccompanied by a dry feeling, but the finish is appropriately dry. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Jun 5, 2004 Same deep yellow as their pale ale, except this one has a bit of a head. The flavor is reminiscent of a grapefruit rind, chewy and acidicly bitter. Didn’t dig it. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Feb 27, 2006 Nice hoppy aroma, lots of citrus with a very decent malt backbone, but still very light, with a clean crisp finish.
