schm1005 (150), Honolulu, Hawaii, USA Oct 2, 2003 Good hop aroma and flavor. Strong cascade flavor and bitterness evident. Golden and cloudy. acrdz (4302), Boulder, Colorado, USA Jun 27, 2003 Slightly murky orange. Beautiful look of opaque orange light. Looks like an unfiltered wheat. Moderately strong hop aroma of oranges, sugar, but it was served too cold. Bitterness is unaccompanied by a dry feeling, but the finish is appropriately dry. bitbucket (1542), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jun 22, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear copper with a lacy white head. Aroma of citrus, resin, and the weed that is the cousin of the hop. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Sweet taste that follows the nose. DA (2425), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Nov 25, 2007 On tap at the brewery. Big grapefruit flavor, over a very floral ipa. Bitter finish, mild on the malts but a bit doughy, let the hops shine. Solid ipa, a lot of small pubs go for the milder ipa, this place doesn’t hold back. Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Aug 2, 2006 Hazy amber colour. Woody, citric, tangerine, orange, old orchard wood...oh yeah this is PNW IPA...the food of the gods. Minimal malt for balance, a testament to the hop. Chinook = the shit.
