Apr 23, 2006 (On tap) Nashville. Completely pitch black and opaque - barely any head. Almost vinous aroma of dried fruit and port wine. Flavours of lightly burned malt and then unfortunately - again - a strong fustiness spoiling what could have been a fairly nice Stout. God, why the f... don’t these people keep their pipes clean? May 21, 2006 Black body with brown head. Aroma is medium sweet, roast, milk chocolate, some coffee, light earthy/floral. Taste is moderately sweet, coffee, roast, some chocolate, light herbal, faint burnt. Creamy light-medium body.

Feb 17, 2006 On tap at the Disney World Boark Walk location. Poured a dark black with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of chocolate and roasted malts. Tastes of roasted malts, coffee, and chocolate. Light bitter finish. My favorite out of the six beers I had there.

Jun 25, 2005 Pours a very dark opaque with brown edges and a frothy well-lacing tan head. Aroma is subtle, dry and roasty without much sweetness. Smooth, malty, robubst, dry-tasting body has good viscosity and roasty finish. A nicely balanced brew and an enjoyable dry stout.

Jan 3, 2004 This beer rocks! Pours as black as used motor oil. Medium-sized, creamy, beige head. Great retention and thick, creamy lacing.
Brown tea, charred wood, dark chocolate and cola in the aroma.
Very well-bittered to balance out the deeply roasted, chocolatey, full malt. Also, astringent with notes of charcoal.
Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and medium carbonation. Lengthy, burnt, crisp, dry finish. World class beer!
