puggy211 (576), cordova, Tennessee, USA Oct 6, 2009 Draught) Pours a clear golden body with a small white head. Nearly nonexistent aroma; light butter and grain. Flavor of malt with slightly skunky hops.
ChainGangGuy (2522), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA Sep 29, 2009 Appearance: Pours a deep gold body with a disappointingly small, quickly diminishing, white head.
Smell: Pils malt aroma, a touch grainy, maybe even a touch corny with a pervasive background floral note.
Taste: Sweetish pale and pils malt taste, with a very fine hint of grain and corn. Floral hops with just a slight tingle of spice. Very restrained bitterness. Still finishes on the sweet side with a lingering floral taste.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied (but just barely!). Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Fairly basic; not as rich or complex as some of its brethren, but it gets the job done. Maltajo (103), TARRYTOWN, New York, USA Sep 8, 2009 Sample at the Brewpub downtown Chattanooga. Light pour with a thin head that does not last. Grassy dry hardly any taste. I do like beer, really! But this round of Big River Samples is not doing it for me. Ok back to the rateing. A hint of bitterness and could use more. God I hope the wings I ordered are good. Moving on! BeerHawk (1175), Huntsville, Alabama, USA Jul 26, 2009 Draft at Chattanooga Downtown location. Pale in the glass with a creamy white head that left a thin layer lasting and light lace. Bready aroma with some light spice. Biscuit flavor with hints of lemon and spice. Light body, crisp, tingly carbonation. Tmoney99 (4649), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jul 16, 2009 Draft at BRG.
Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Medium Euro hop aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium tingly sweet finish of moderate duration.
I would recommend this to a freind. lithy (1600), Knoxville, Tennessee, USA Jul 1, 2009 Pale golden, thin white head. Light bready and grassy aroma. Taste is more bready malt, clean grassiness. arrogantb (694), Denver, Colorado, USA Feb 13, 2009 Nice clear yellow, fizzy with a good head. Smells and tastes fruity with some mineral qualities that I actually enjoy in a pilsener. I would order this again if given the chance, a tasty beer. Unfortunately I live nowhere near Tennessee and therefore I probably won;t be drinking this beer again any time soon.
Serving type: on-tap
