| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 7, 2009 On tap at the brewery in Nashville. Deep red/amber color. Crystal malt and citrus hop aroma. Taste is hoppier; more bitter than flavorful or aromatic. Interesting for an amber beer, but definitely not my favorite. Acknud (792), Morganfield, Kentucky, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 24, 2009 On tap at Big River – WDW. Poured clear coppery-amber with a short cap of beige head.. left sticky lacing as it descended. The aroma picked up sweet candied, toasted caramel with lesser notes of dark fruit.. some citrus overtones, but they were mostly suppressed by the sweetness. Sweet caramel and dark fruits on the flavor’s core with a decent dose of hops showing up (scratchy, rough pine and citrus primarily).. rough and bitter again on the finish. Light-medium bodied with a good moderate level of carbonation.. bitterness was too rough for this to be enjoyable. I hope this was just a bad batch, as the other beers in the sampler were at least "OK" BREWMUSKCLES (1084), New Jersey, USA
