The palate is evenly balanced and bold without being overbearing. Just very good and nice. Not over the top, but very pleasant. arrogantb (701), Denver, Colorado, USA

Nice orange color, decent head. Smells very bready and the taste follows suit. This reminds me of a marzen and I was quite surprised by ho much I enjoyed this beer. Of all the Big River beers this was probably the best one I had the chance to sample.

Appearance is orangish. Aroma is malty and fruity. Flavor has a nice malt kick with a slightly fruity taste, maybe apricots and oranges, and some hop presence. Mouthfeel is quite nice, creamy and smooth, with a nice bite. Much better than I expected. kp (8399), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

Clear dark amber, whispy head, sweet toasted cakmel malt aroma, good body, sweet cahmel malt flavor touch of balancing bitterness in the finish, a lot of toasted biscuit malt flavor upon warming, an excellent example of the style
