Dec 10, 2003 Dark amber. Light off-white head. Aroma is toasty & fruity. Medium body. Flavour is fruity, malty, lightly smokey & mildly hoppy.

Dec 4, 2003 Very dark brown color with just a hint of red poking through. Aroma is fruity and slightly malty. The body is similar, with hints of fruit and a nice malt backgroud. Much too timid, but not a terrible beer.

Aug 21, 2003 Bottle. Why they would even imply that this is a stout I'm not sure. Dark amber colour, slight tan head. Aroma is slightly roasted, hint of sweet malt. Slightly bitter with lightly roasted flavour. Palate is not bad, but could be better from something with stout on the label.

Dec 25, 2002 Interesting aroma, appearance is very dark. Hold it up to the light and you can’t see through the glass. Has a thin, watery palate and non-existent head. Overall a weak effort from Big Rock.
