Nice golden clear color served in a pint glass. More aroma and flavor than I can remember f or a Dopplebock. Medium malty body. Does have just a bit of carbonation and hop flavor that give it a nice little zing. Bread, sweet, and nutty and nutty flavor in a medium body. I had a second glass.

GABF 2008. Dark amber brown, almond coloured creamy head. Nutty bread crusty aroma. Sweet and malty, bready, brown sugar, medium bitter finish. I love a good doppelbock, and this fits the bill.

Draft sample at MBGF Summer08. Poured a dark brown color with an average light brown frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Good aroma of toasted nutty malt. Medium body with smooth texture. Moderate toasted bittersweet flavor with a moderate sweet finish of medium duration. Drinkable brew.
