Pours a cola colour with a brown stained head. Smell of sweet caramel malts and a little chocolate. Full bodied with soft carbonation. Taste has a thick sweetness mixed with similar flavours of what is found in the aroma. Not enough of the coffee flavour for me. Others take over a bit more. Finish is short and sweet and a small bit sticky. Overall a smooth, flavourfull, and drinkable beer. ThomasE (5178), Copenhagen, Denmark

Extremely dark with a rather thin but lasting head. Aroma of bitter chocolate, coffee and a hint of prune. The flavour is more plum than espresso. Thick body. As it warms the flavour is like a a chocolate plum pudding itself with a dusty coffee finish.
