HazelRah (276), Summerland, British Columbia, Canada Jul 19, 2005 For such a wicked can I was very disappointed. Poured a light blond with fine head. Faint grassy aroma. Miniscule wheaty bite. Goes down smooth but a little too unremarkable and watery I would say. Hooker (450), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada Jul 5, 2005 Clear pale yellow colour with thin white head. Mild yeast nose. Dry tangy taste with mild teast hints. Boutip (2333), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada May 26, 2005 Bottle: Poured a fizzy golden color ale with a small head with no retention. Aroma is comprised of weak wheat. Taste is again quite weak on wheat with a gross watery aftertaste. There is also some sourness that I could detect that wasn’t pleasant at all. Bad bad stuff. Commodore (112), Ontario, Canada Apr 17, 2005 Well, it came served with a lemon, so right away I was reluctant to claim it as my order. Came from keg, clear golden colour, no head. I didn’t want to use the lemon, but my buddy put it in before I could protest (or maybe I did protest and he didn’t listen). Anyway, it tasted like lemon-flavoured Perrier. can8ianben (903), Pasadena, California, USA Mar 23, 2005 An interesting beer, nothing really going on here. I had it on tap, it was served with lemon. Would be a great summer afternoon beer. Very refreshing. iambeer (255), Ontario, Canada Mar 7, 2005 Bottle , very thin head, almost flat, the beer tasted pretty much the same. This wheat ale is a miss, not something I will miss. Fiend (104), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Mar 4, 2005 A clear, crisp, wheaty ale...with a strong wheat aroma. I tried this beer without the lime first...but found that the lime adds a slight bitterness that compiments the flavor of the wheat and hopps. JadoreBlanche (114), London, Ontario, Canada Feb 28, 2005 On tap at Alex P, keaton in London. Pours a golden body with a thin white head. Aroma is slightly earthy and sweet, but some kind of slight chemical smell but not in an offensive way over all doesnt have much of an aroma. Slight hops, and earthy taste. Slgith Grapes also present. Watery finish, with sligth bitterness. I dont think it is a good example of a wheat, but none the less, it was decent enough to have again. Most definately a huge difference between bottle and tap.
