Jul 1, 2003 Color is a pale yellow, nothing pretty for a hefe, lightning fast faded head of I think was white, has very light and small spotty lace. Smell is malty, wheaty, some mustyness with a simple woodyness in the back. Taste is bland of malts and some touches of wheat, has a bit of sweetness and fairly strong hold in the middle of grain. Feel is pretty full and a bit of a grain feel, is pretty good, best part of this brew. This is a bit over average, I wouldn't pass it up if offered, but would pass it by otherwise.
This grasshopper jumps across the field just fine but it just so happens to land in the mouth of a hungry bird.

Jun 17, 2003 Like a slightly fruity pale ale. A little bit honey aroma, lightbodied and a hint of bitterhop finish. Rather boring though.

May 12, 2003 Unimpressive...Pretty clear and clean looking. A bit sweet in a way, fairly spritzy. I probably wont' get it again, and woudnt recommend it.

Apr 10, 2003 Hazy yellow w/ white head that dissipated very quickly. Some malt, yeast, & light grain on the nose. Light body that could be livelier. Sweet, grainy malt flavour w/ some sourness & bland finish.

Mar 23, 2003 Clear and golden almost with an orange tinge. Big head quickly sinks but lacing is respectable. Aroma is hoppy and grainy. Taste is rather plain and I sure don't experience wheat. A smooth and easy drinking beer for a hot day I guess. Not great in comparison to the hoe..

Feb 22, 2003 Updated: Feb 3, 2007A bit on the pale side, clear filtered. Good balance. Bit of a dried grass or hay aroma. Goes down smooth. Doesn’t have the personality or citrusy/fruity flavors of other wheat beers though.

Feb 5, 2003 A pleasant, very drinkable beer. Perhaps a bit on the weak side. Very nice with food - if had on its own, there's not a lot going for it.

Jan 28, 2003 Light gold color. Small head. Aroma is slightly malty. A very light bodied wheat beer. Some malts, some hops. Not much flavor. Beat macro swill, but why bother. Mouthfeel is thin. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is neutral. NOt ba, but really nothing to recommend it.
