cfrancis (293), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada Mar 1, 2009 This is not a normal wheat beer. Lacks the straw colour and citrusy flavour. Tastes more like an ale. Sharp aftertaste is the only thing that is good about this beer. hobbersr (393), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Feb 9, 2009 Pours a golden yellow with little head. Aroma is musty with some citrus notes (mainly lemon) some allspice, and very bready malt. Tastes lemony, with a mushroomy mid-palate. Also has some spice and a very bready taste. Palate is fine, but this beer is much better on tap. Just lacks the bright freshness of a good wheat beer. Cole (266), , Alberta, Canada Feb 8, 2009 on tap shark club lethbridge. Clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is very light. Flavor is also very light and smooth. Not a great wheat beer. But it is very crisp and smooth. Very drinkable. SledgeJr (2957), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Feb 8, 2009 On tap at O’Sheas in Toon Town. Clear golden yellow with a thin white head. Too much carbonation for such a thin bodied beer. I’m not sure where the wheat is supposed to be, but it is definitely missing from this beer. Hugely disappointing. Narnad (682), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA Feb 6, 2009 Pours from the bottle a clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma has a slight apple juice sweetness and acidic note with noble hops aromas and a pretty grainy background. Flavor starts off with a honey and grain flavor moving into a pretty grainy middle while ending with lingering apply-juice like sweetness that hangs around for a bit afterword. Mouth feel is good for the style. Overall not too bad of a beer from this brewery and something that would be a good thirst quenching beer on a warm day. Definately setting a good standard for Wheat Ale’s. A nice orange-y/honey taste with just a touch of bitterness in the finish. A classic Unfiltered White appearance. Not my favorite Wheat ale, but its definately up there! terrybail (331), London, Ontario, Canada Dec 13, 2008 341ml bottle from the LCBO
The aroma is slightly sweet honey and bread
Pours a very golden amber with a fast dissipitating white head
The taste is more like a pale lager then a wheat beer
Not very good
