blankboy (3157), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jun 3, 2008 Draught at C’est What. Pours a clear bubbly orange with a small creamy white head. Very mild aroma of grain, grass and corn -- very dull. Watery, mild flavour of grain, some sweet malt and a very light bitter finish -- hard to tell as there’s so little flavour. Light bodied. So, so dull -- not even worth drinking. patricks110 (275), Alberta, Canada Apr 8, 2008 Updated: Apr 14, 2008Not as good as the other beers made in calgary. Brewsters and wildrose are better. Thick head with a hoppy taste. Wheat is faint and almost non-existant. Can find on tap in most Calgary bars. swiseman (200), Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada Mar 29, 2008 very disappointing (from a can). nice thick head that dissipated in about 10 seconds. hints of wheat, but mostly standard lager. nice hop aftertaste. Overall, an ok beer, but the taste swings too close to the macro side to give it any strong ratings. Gpnterojd (162), Orangeville, Ontario, Canada Mar 15, 2008 On tap at The Bomber. "Popsicle sticks in fall" aroma. Garbagey. Flavour reminiscent of swiss cheese. Interesting. Medium to light body. Slightly dry. Mild hop aftertaste. ILduce (133), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Feb 17, 2008 On tap @ Moxie’s: Small smooth head over a hazy golden-green body. Citrus and banana in the nose. Faint wheat taste with hints of bar-mix and sweet esters. Light-bodied and smooth on the way down...nothing special. gilvanblight (390), Windsor, Ontario, Canada Jan 6, 2008 Slightly rusty golden pour with a clingy white head. Sweet acidic scent. Watery taste, not much going on there. A hint of hops and a touch of biterness in the finish. A very slight taste of citrus in the middle. Definately one of the weakest wheat beers I have had. This used to be a favourite of mine before I had try so many better beers. A poor example of the style. Gethinbeer (993), Nova Scotia, Canada Nov 7, 2007 Bottle. Sweet fruit aroma. Clear light pale golden appearance. Thin to no head. Smooth honey flavour. Not much going on in this glass. It would quench a thirst. Just a sugary brew for me I feel. KingofCastle (202), London, Ontario, Canada Nov 3, 2007 bottle: An old stand by for the summer or I want a light beer to drink with flavour. Not as good as Erdinger or Blue Moon (without the cheap Molson malts) but superior to Hoegaarden by far. Not alot to talk about here: thin puffy white head diminishing quicly, with golden colour. Right away you can tast high quality, sweetish malts which also come through on the finish. Some spicy notes but nothing crazy. This is a high average wheat ale, dont’ turn one down, especially on tap.
