Fresh out of an icy cooler or served in a frosty mug. This is an example of how wheat ales should be. A touch of fruit out of the start with a bold/crisp finish. Maybe I’m playing favorites since its a Calgary brew. I think it looks great. Clean and clear straw colour with medium head. Usually served with a slice of lemon (throw that away). Obviously a wheaty flavour. Refreshing summer time beer served cold for me. marshallyyz (1), Windsor, Ontario, Canada does not count | 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 1/10 | 2/5 | 3/20 | Nov 26, 2006 bottle. after loving the traditional ale from big rock, this was a big let down. i like wheat beers with yeast sediment, but i dont discriminate if not, however, this one was bad. carbonation was very high and it tasted like straw-water. big dissappointment from big rock WeeHeavySD (2963), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA

There was no cloudiness to the apperance which to me gave me an early sign that this wouldn’t be that good. It was lighly bitter and mellow, not a stand out but decent and drinkable. Unusually highly carbonated. Wheat flavor was weak but had a lemony component that helped. Nothing I would ever repeat. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

Not a huge fan of American wheats but I still think they’re worth a try. This one was pretty good; had nice golden pour with minimal head. Sweet aroma, a little grainy too. Flavour was a little bland, but clean tasting. I’d definitely take this over a macro any day of the week. Good but not great.
