Smooth texture and quenching feel after a bike ride. AR soft yeast notes and sweetish wheat malt. FL like AR with hints citrus and pear. Good bar option. Narnad (721), Wonder Lake, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 6, 2009 Pours from the bottle a clear golden color with a thin white head. Aroma has a slight apple juice sweetness and acidic note with noble hops aromas and a pretty grainy background. Flavor starts off with a honey and grain flavor moving into a pretty grainy middle while ending with lingering apply-juice like sweetness that hangs around for a bit afterword. Mouth feel is good for the style. Overall not too bad of a beer from this brewery and something that would be a good thirst quenching beer on a warm day. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 3, 2006 Nothing like European wheat beers. Yellowish gold. No head at all. Aroma of grasses/clover. Not in a good way. Tastes how it smells. Sweetens markedly as it warms. A tiny bit of hops on the finish. Drinkable, but there are better choices. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | May 21, 2006 Dull and watery. Took me some time to identify it as a wheat beer -- only most basic bready smells and esters pop up. Otherwise, it’s barely passable light-coloured beer with little to distinguish it. Drinkable, for sure, but not great. Pass the lemon... wnp22 (682), Toronto (Roncesvalles Village), Ontario, Canada

Little or no spice or banana in the aroma - light grassy scent in the aroma. Bitter refreshing finish but strangely nasty. JesseM (678), Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 2, 2007 On tap at the Boathouse. What I got was warm (?!), so maybe my judgement was a little off. Vague aroma of stuff that was not wheat. The flavour is, practically like a pale lager, and not a great one. Really not all that enjoyable, but that’s not a shot at the brewery by any means. | 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 5, 2009 Grasshopper a very common beer here in Edmonton and a lot of people order it thinking its fancy because it comes with a wedge of lemon, the only reason this lemon is needed is to drown out the taste of this cheap beer. Don’t get me wrong this beer isn’t horrible it’s just not as good and fancy as the masses think it is. The review was done from the canned version so marks might be lower then they should, Beer starts off all right crystal clear golden body with a good sized white fluffy cap that had good retention. Smell is wheat with some corn coming through very week unappealing aroma, this is where the lemon wedge comes drowning out all fowl odors and tastes. Very bready taste with more corn then wheat so I guess its really corn bread I’m tasting, and that’s all there is for taste, all corn bread malt with no hops. Its still a drinkable beer but not worth the premium beer price. UnionMade (621), Connecticut, USA
