Far more interesting than I remember my first tasting in a bottle. Sweet, apple-like taste with a wheaty body. Still a little bland, but has a small amount of citrus kick to it. Not terribly interesting, but a pretty dependable option to go to in many Canadian bars. mbgrayson (149), Anaconda, Montana, USA

Brewsters and wildrose are better. Thick head with a hoppy taste. Wheat is faint and almost non-existant. Can find on tap in most Calgary bars. cfrancis (345), Gloucester, Ontario, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Mar 1, 2009 This is not a normal wheat beer. Lacks the straw colour and citrusy flavour. Tastes more like an ale. Sharp aftertaste is the only thing that is good about this beer. Laf-o (41), Toronto, Ontario, Poland

In the past I thought it was better than it actually is. Suprisingly weak flavour for a wheat beer. Lacks the crispness of better brands. Average. Big head quickly sinks but lacing is respectable. Aroma is hoppy and grainy. Taste is rather plain and I sure don't experience wheat. A smooth and easy drinking beer for a hot day I guess. Not great in comparison to the hoe..
