This is a decent refreshing wheat beer. Doesn’t hold a candle to good german hefe, but quaffable on a hot summer day on tap, lots of bars in canada have it.

33 cl bottle, Fargo, ND, USA via Winnipeg. Very light yellow, minimal head with some lacing that desperately clings to the glass for life. Very mild aroma of straw/grass, but quite hard to detect. Flavor is non-existent, perhaps a bit of bitterness. Very light and not at all interesting.

Piss yellow with no head but slight lacing. Aroma of pink grapefruit, bubble gum and banana. Citrus taste, sour finish, slightly reminiscent of a wheat beer. Light body for the style. Interesting, but not great.

draught. better and much wheatier than I remember from the last time I tried it, it seems like big rock has made improvements to the recipe. not a good example of the style maybe, but considering it basically ends up being almost identical to a premium lager, it’s very much a palatable option compared to many examples of that style. A bit underrated by many on the site.

Botella. Grainy wheaty aroma. Fair mouthfeel. Flavour of something wheaty , bit sweet with grains and gras, bit grassy. Disappointing.

On draft at Joe Baladinis (Toronto, ON)> Pours a hazy yellow color with thin white head. Aroma is sweet and floral with notes of grass, wheat, yeast, banana, clove, light citrus. Flavor is sweet and floral with notes of caramel, honey, funk, wheat, yeast, bread. Generally light body with a thin finish.

Thanks kiefdog for the share. Pours light yellow with a white head. Nose is corn, bread, and grass. Flavor is about the same. Light, sweet, and wheaty. umm, ok.

Courtesy of kiefdog. Pours gold with thin white head. The aroma is grainy, floral and sweet with a modest level of malts. The taste consists of sweet malts, graininess, floral hops and little else. It ends thin and too sweet for my taste.
