Commercial Description:
Big Rock Honey Brown is an exceptionally smooth, mellow lager with a subtle hint of sweet honey. This medium bodied, rich golden-brown lager is made with Alberta Clover Honey and aged longer to produce a cramy head and a clean aftertaste.

Nice Honey Brown colour and is smooth and mellow to a point of narcolepsy. I fell asleep drinking this boring beer.

Light amber in color with a medium white head. Aroma of sweet caramel malt and honey?,although very faint. Flavor is in line with the aroma. Overall a boring and almost pointless attempt at what might be a nice craft beer.

Can: Way too sweet and industrial tasting. Clear copper with a faded head. Caramel aroma and taste.

I wasn't impressed with this one at all. Light brown in colour, with hints of gold. Fairly carbonated with some hop presence. I hardly got any honey flavor at all, but I did get an unpleasant bitter chemical flavor. Not much body either... quite watery. If you want a honey beer, do yourself a favor, avoid this one and try Fuller's Organic Honeydew. Even Sleeman's Honey Brown is better than this one.

Also bought the sixer for the free glass...Better than any other honey brown I’ve tried to date...Nice copper colour with a sweet aroma. Decent lacing and extremely easy to down.

Bought the six so I could get the free glass. Light body ale which is a little sweeter than Big Rock's traditional ale (it must be the honey!). Yes, it is true, honey is a great marketing word. Big Rock's attempt at this style is nothing special.

Light brown color, tan head.Medium light body with touch of roastiness and ever so faint honey or some sort of sweetness. The traditional western Canadian sweet low hop beer that the populus seems to love. A great marketing ploy with the "Honey". Actually the first two were nice, then I a split a pitcher and that when the battle started, gets tart after many. Cheers
