Thanks for microakes for buying a sixer...I might never have had it otherwise. Golden-brown colour. Grainy, vaguely caramelly aroma. Light body, fizzy. Very sweet with heavy corn syrup notes.

Dark golden colour with a thick off-white head and sticky lace. Honey aroma, some cotton candy sweetness as well. A hint of caramel malt aroma as well. Flavour is very thin, some malt and a touch of sweetness.

Draught. Small white head. Hazy amber body. Weak hops aroma and flavor without much honey taste.

Bottle in Halifax. Dark amber body, small white head. Very sweet aroma of caramel and malt. Flavour is simple with lots of the sweet sugary caramel malt per the aroma. Very slight bitterness in the background doesn’t quite balance it out. Average palate. Pleasant enough, but gets a touch cloying after a bit.

(Bottle) Purchased at the BC Liquor Store at Fairfield Plaza in Victoria, BC, for $1.95. Pours a tiny, white head and a well carbonated, deep amber body. Nose of corn syrup. Incredibly artificial flavour - some honey but the malt is too sweet and the mild bitter finish is undesirable. Poor offering.

Light flowery aroma. Honey brown colour. Thin, but lasting, allmost creamy head, small bubbles. More noticable hops than Rickards or Sleemans. Even a touch of bitterness in the back. The honey taste starts light but builds up with each sip. Rerated down as with more beers under my belt the syrupy flavour is way too sweet. AND CHEMICALLY BITTER.

Golden brown, mostly corn syrup/caramel aroma. Sweet palate, but featureless really. Not bad, but not much stands out.
