Powertrip (182), Calgary, Alberta, Canada Oct 2, 2009 I just found my tasting notes for this from about 5 years ago. It says "very wheat like nose with extremely light wheat flavour that covers the mouth. Finish is more wheat. Is this a wheat beer?" 6/10. Wow....I wish I remembered that experience. Cavie (1317), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Jul 17, 2009 Standard pour. Unsurprising light aroma. Slight skunked flavor with elements of corn. Basic by all standards. furballman (25), Seoul, South Korea Mar 31, 2008 I would say that this is good for those of us trying to cut down, but it really doesn’t taste very good. It’s kind of like a watered down Grasshopper with a bit of skunk and a lot less flavor. Better go with a godd beer like Grasshopper from Big Rock. Gethinbeer (993), Nova Scotia, Canada Nov 7, 2007 Bottle. Clean aroma of no much. Clear yellow, low carb. Thin to no head. Honey flavour, watery, thin. Nothing really and hard to find a taste of anything. pintbypint (1002), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada Oct 14, 2007 355ml can. No mention of the low carb thing on this can, guess that trend is dead, though the beer still is 3.8%abv. Pours extremely pale straw colour with a small white head that shrinks rather quickly. Dusty grain aroma. Tough to pick out any flavours at all from this - there is a very light grain note and that’s about it. Watery, bland and fizzy. Nothing to commend here. graham515 (420), Houston, Texas, USA Aug 16, 2007 Tastes like a mix between miller lite and sam adams light. Wouldn’t buy again DuffMan (2719), the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, Canada May 14, 2006 Once again, a fairly respectable brewer sells out to the popular culture trend of low-carb insanity. And once again, this beer illustrates low-carb = NO flavour. HazelRah (276), Summerland, British Columbia, Canada Jan 26, 2006 Faint aroma of what I would call corn, though I realize there’s probably no corn been added to this one. Water, now that’s another story-this is one of the blandest and most watery beers I’ve ever tasted. The flavour touches on grassiness but even at room temperature there’s just not much there. Poured a lemon juice yellow, near clear, with only a hint of head. Seltzer mouthfeel. 85 calories. Molson Exel has 80. Amazing.
