Commercial Description:
At only 2 grams of carbs, Jack Rabbit has the lowest carb count of all the low carb beers currently available in Canada. A proprietary brewing process using Alberta's best 2-row barley malt significantly reduces the amount of complex sugar and other carbohydrates remaining in the beer.

Can shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc & tupalev -- courtesy of jerc. Pours a clear pale yellow with a spare white head. Aroma of, well, almost nothing -- some grain I guess. Tastes like very slightly flavoured water. Total garbage. I don’t expect much from Big Rock but I do expect better than this.

Can shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, tupalev & jerc - courtesy of jerc. Very pale yellow - just a step above clear, really - with a small head. Nasty aroma of damp grain that is somehow watery and harsh at the same time. Flavour isn’t "bad" per se, just very watery with a vague hint of stale malt. Now iI have yet another reason to think that low carb diets are stupid.

Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc, hogtown harry - courtesy of jerc. Bready skunk aroma. Very light watery yellow. Almost tasteless. Lots of butter. Taste isn’t as skunky as aroma, but it is not pleasant either. Swill, and apparently low carb swill, I had no idea.

Can. Pale yellow, small white head. Watery muted, muted malt (thats an intentional double muted!). Flavour is watery with just enough to be a bit obnoxious. Dilute grainy malt. <P> "Like a skunk walking into a bakery." - Tupalev

Can (355ml). Shared with blankboy, GregClow, jerc, tupalev - courtesy of jerc. Poured pale flat yellow, no head. Aroma of watery fusel urine - nasty but mild. Taste is mild, foul, grainy, sweet, harsh - mouthfeel watery. Just foul.

Hmmm Well if you are looking for a low carb beer, here is a better example I guess . Very low Malt and taste. If you really need the low carb beer then search for the DAB version which has some flavor and hops!

Light grassy nose, palest yellow, pours a small, short lived white head. Grassy, hint of corn and hops? Very light bodied. Not so bad for the style. Thanks mds.

can. very light-coloured pale golden with a fizzy white head. aroma is of sweet corn, grass, and vegetables. very bland though that’s exactly what I expected for this style and what it claims to be. sweet corn flavour in a lightly carbonated body. meh.
