Poured bright clear bubbly light gold, with a fizzy white head like foam rubber. Aroma of nasty stale grain, some sort of harsh sweetness, rice, very pungent, almost skunky - I have smelled this before, sadly. Taste is stale, floury, like tupalev says, generic macro lager, at least it’s not offensively sweet or skunky. Thin and watery and sort of half-arsed fizzy - It smells bad, but tastes ehh. tupalev (2618), Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Stale corn aroma. Taste is grainy and light, pretty much a macro lager without anything too offensive. Drinkable on a lawnmower I suppose, but this is November in Toronto - I’m cold and this kinda sucks, especially as Big Rock can make some decent beers when it isn’t try to woo the masses. Oh well, another Canadian rating. Beerguys (50), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 18, 2005 Poured golden with a small foamy head. Lots of carbonation. First taste made me think of Molson Canadian. Very generic tasting. Dissapointed considering the Big Rock name. Good beer to have on a hot day or stilling on a patio Fiend (104), Calgary, Alberta, Canada
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jul 15, 2005 This beer was pretty disapointing considering that Big Rock makes some great beers! It was like they tried to make the closest thing to Molson Canadian as possible. Why? I can only wonder. It had some of the trademark Big Rock flavors, but left a plain & dull flavor in my mouth. I wouldn’t turn one down if offered a free Kold in the street, but you won’t find me buying this stuff again. JadoreBlanche (114), London, Ontario, Canada
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 27, 2005 Bottle: Poured a golden body with thin white head. Just average looking. Corn aroma with slight skunk and hops. Watery, slightly bitter, and corn flavour. Bitter aftertaste, very water all the way down. Not too great.....wouldnt really cared if I had it again. | 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jan 22, 2005 Probably the worst i have had from Big Rock. Not horrid, but nothing in any way that strikes me as different. I am not certain that this glacier water thing works for any brewery. But, I digress.....here’s the rating:
Appearance: Gold body, some slight carbonation noticable, and a thin white head accompanies.
Aroma: Aroma is faint, lacking. Mild corn, acidic, chamicals, and slight hops.
Taste: Weak, watery, slightly bitter hops, some corn.
Palate: Watery from start to finish. Hardly noticable going down.
Overall: Lacking in pretty much every area. Weak, disappointing. BeerPrince (1701), Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 16, 2004 bottle. I found this in the singles bin at the Summerhill LCBO, thankfully I didn’t buy an entire 6-pack. smells entirely of grass and vegetables. translucent light golden. I agree with the commercial description to a point, it’s "clean and crisp" and it certainly doesn’t have a "bitter taste", but that last part should be changed to "nearly no taste whatsoever". malty and uneventful.
