After the acidity, what you are left with is raw malt taste - like when you chew on malt. And it ain’t Maris Otter, if you know what I’m saying. hopdog (5604), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a lighter and see through golden color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of grain, light citrus and some honey sweetness. Tastes of pretty much the same. Thin and on the watery side. Very much on the boring side. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

Well, its not bad in a pinch New Year’s Eve. But it is forgettable and plain, though some malt and even a hop or two for taste. More than a thin mouthfeel, so better than average for its style. Understated carbonation was appreciated. HogTownHarry (4020), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada

Poured bright clear bubbly light gold, with a fizzy white head like foam rubber. Aroma of nasty stale grain, some sort of harsh sweetness, rice, very pungent, almost skunky - I have smelled this before, sadly. Taste is stale, floury, like tupalev says, generic macro lager, at least it’s not offensively sweet or skunky. Thin and watery and sort of half-arsed fizzy - It smells bad, but tastes ehh. Very little hops, and a slighty fruity (?) taste to it. Extremely drinkable. I polished this off much quicker than I planned to CapFlu (3483), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Marketing American Standard beers to the general population must be high school kid"s dream job. The beer tastes fine. Can"t wait until the bars pick this "trendy beer" up and people try to order it: ’one kold beer, please.’ It"ll be like ordering "illegal" in Quebec in 1995.
