It smells and tastes of sweet caramel malt and some light hops. There’s a light to medium body and while uncomplicated, it’s decent. shintriad (698), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jun 1, 2008 Flat body, orangey amber with slight carb and a tiny head. Strong toffee malts in nose, overwhelming notes of amaretto. Very nutty and burnt flavours. Smooth with just enough carbonation to move it along. Nice alcohol bitterness in the finish. Wish I could get it regularly! Radek Kliber (3986), Toronto (Can) Krotoszyn (Pol), Ontario, Canada

Appearance: amber –copper look , large fine top. Good color. Nose : sweet , caramel with brown sugar , sweet , heavy on malt 6+ Flavor/Palate : Medium thin bodied , especially if you consider its size (7% alc.). Strong , one dimensional caramel like brew. Alcohol well covered by sugars.

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 1/20 | Dec 4, 2007 Inmy expedition to Canada, I discovered this brew. The aroma is weak with only a hint of hops. The appearance is darker than usual, but consistent with an Irish Ale. Taste of this one is reflective of an American Pale Ale; giving the mass produced taste. After a few you can tate the alcohol, but worth it if you’re in the region. greig (172), Hamilton, New Zealand
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 8, 2007 Caramel/sugar on the nose with lightly floral hops. Beautiful copper colour with a thin white head which fades quickly. Big sugary caramel flavours, with big body to back it up, and a slightly minty hop note present. Alcohol is quite apparent, and quite a sharp flavour I can’t identify. Lingering malty sweetness. Not a bad beer, thanks to kempicus for supplying this. Gethinbeer (1006), Nova Scotia, Canada
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 7, 2007 Bottle. Sweet sugar aroma. Slightly hoppy. Copper colour. Thin quick dissipating head. Can actually get some hops in this one. Alcohol balance is good. Cant place my finger on something in this beer. A little spice maybe? Reminds me of a home brew I made a few years ago. Best I’ve tried from Big Rock so far......
