Mild malty finish and nice bitterness made this totally worth drinking. albert007 (409), Penobsquis, New Brunswick, Canada

Aroma was rather average..it did even seem unpleasant like sour milk at first..but it got better.
A very malty taste indeed smooth buttery taste with some hops thrown in at the end.
Average mouthfeel
This beer wasn't bad by any means..but it was boring doubt I will buy again. NectarFarm (128), Calgary, Canada

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 11, 2003 Color is dark amber and recieves a white frothy head about a finger high and faded within a minute leaving no lace. Smell is soft with caramel malt and a hint of hop. Taste is sweet malt of caramel flavor then procedes into the balancing hop of faintly dry bite. Its mostly malty with a few nice things going for it as far as balance and body. Feel is strongly medium bodied and bold, slightly silky/buttery smooth and sweet with a nice light drying finish from hops. This is very drinkable, smooth, bold, and well balanced.
