Commercial Description:
Soft, creamy and as dry as Irish humour, this refreshing mild stout has hints of espresso, licorice, and black pepper. The beer is dark in colour with a dense head of pillowy foam, a creamy body and a rich roasted dryness in the finish.

I disagree that it is weak in flavour, as Beer Prince says below. Rather I think mr_kimchee, below, is correct that the flavour starts out great but goes thin at the finish. I like the deep brown apearance, the roasty smell, and the tart taste. The weak finish is unfortunate, but not a bad dry stout at all.

deep brown with red hints, small biege head. mild roast, coffee, and choclate milk aroma. the flavour starst out roasty and tart with a bit of cocoa, but unfortunately, goes waery and thin very quickly. too bad.

Black with no head. Great chocolate coffee nose. Unfortunately it smells far better than it tastes. Rather thin and weak light coffee flavor with light roasted finish

Pours a black body which resembles used oil. No head upon the pour. Aroma was of espresso and smoke. Taste was weak but there was a light coffee note and the finish was dry and somewhat roasted. Easy drinking beer but was kind of weak in flavour.

coffee and chocolate light aroma. Pours a very opaque brown with a browny frothy head. Light coffee undertones. Mouthfeel is thin and watery, slightly creamy at the end. slightly sour at the end. Not being a fan of stouts anyway, I have no problem saying this is one weak-ass beer. Another disappointing effort from Big Rock.

Instruction card w/ 6-pack said to pour vigorously. Since this is in a bottle it makes up for the lack of the gimmick nitro widget. Pours dark with a thick head. Good smokey slightly burnt toast smell. As advertised it is milder and easy-drinking. Thin watery mouth feel. I will have to try on tap but appears to be meant as a stout-lite. There is a thin after taste but the overall flavour and finish are weak and this is a disappointment as a stout.
