Jan 19, 2004 This beer pours a clear reddish copper and has a nice white creamy head. Scents are of caramel and malts. The initial taste consisted of sugar, caramel and medium roasted malts. The flavour finish is of a slightly sweet/bitter taste and a smooth malty palate. One of my favs from Big Rock!

Dec 14, 2003 Pourred an amber brew with a medium head. Overall, this is your middle of the road. pretty standard tradional ale. Nothing bad but nothing out of the ordinary. This is your average everyday beer but in no way can it be considered a session brew.

Dec 7, 2003 My dad brought me a bottle of this when he returned from a recent business trip.
Pretty good pick considering the fact that he doesn't drink. This is what I'd call a "salt of the earth" type of beer. A very solid beer. Very little to complain about. I mean...it's got a great balance of malt and hops. It's a pretty beer. Very clean tasting. Sure...it doesn't have all the "bells and whistles" of some Belgian beers or Imperial Stouts. But this is a solid beer. This is my definition of a terrific "every day" beer!

Nov 19, 2003 Recently had this in Edmonton. Not a whole lot to this beer. Tastes more like bud light than anything else.

Aug 12, 2003 Medium amber clear with a small white head. Aroma is slightly stale malt and hops reminiscent of many a typical english ale. Medium to soft body. Uncomplicated yet reasonably well balanced malt and bitter flavours. Mild to bland, slightly more bitter, less sweet finish.

Aug 11, 2003 TFOB. Dark amber colour, little head slightly sweet and malty. Could use a good amount of more hops.
